2-year old hero

A 2-year old girl saved her mother from almost dying from diabetes. They live in Houston TX, the mother had not taught her daughter in law to pick up a phone and actually call someone. Her mother had blackened out in the kitchen and fell to the ground, the girl noticed her fall then decided to call her grandmother. The grandmother said,"let me talk to mom."

But the daughter said,"my mom fell down."

So the grandmother rushed to their hose and woke up the mother. The daughter was called a superhero, in my opinion the daughter isn't just a hero but very smart

Earthquake in Turkey!

There was a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Turkey, rescue teams rush to save people from falling buildings and fires. 265 people died and 1,140 were injured in this massive earthquake that made 2,400 rescue workers, 680 medics, 12 rescue dogs, 108 ambulances - including seven air ambulances. There have been many earthquakes like this before in Turkey, Tens of thousands have been sleeping outside in freezing conditions. Turkey is very vulnerable to many earthquakes in the past and now.

Child being pulled out from under a fallen building.
If people keep living in Turkey they will probably be dead anytime soon. My opinion is that this is a very uncontrollable disaster, it would be better if people in Turkey just move out of their country if they want to live any longer. I found this information at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/, it is a top story today.

Moammar Gadhafi Is Dead?

Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, the most wanted man in the world, has been killed, the country's rebel government claimed today. Everyone else believes that he was just captured, in a video that I watched on abcnews.com it is a top story because he's been terrorizing his country for fourty-two years.  Here's a video about it and what happened.

Libya citizens and rebels are free from Gadhafi's rein of terror. I think the world will change for the best of Libya.

Fuzzy robotic companions?

A $6,000 robotic medical baby seal? Sounds strange to me. Why pay 6,000 dollars to get a robot when it's cheaper to get a dog or a cat from the pound.

Residents at Mount Macrina Manor, a long-term care facility in Uniontown, Pa., have many furry companions to keep them company: dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and a couple of robotic white baby seals. Residents and staff call one of the seals Sarah. In my opinion, it's a horrible idea. While people are buying robotic animals, dogs and cats are dying in a pound. Like in toy commercials, buy your elcetronic puppy that walks, barks and and kills other dogs in a pound, that is what I hear in every commercial like that.
